Over the past term, my focus has been on providing pragmatic, persistent, and professional leadership for our Town.

I am pleased to share my re-election website.  As we face slowing growth, increasing infrastructure demands, and rising financial pressures on local families, strong financial leadership and good governance matter more than ever. I show up prepared, ask the right questions, and carefully evaluate long-term impacts before committing taxpayer dollars

UPDATE: A recent example of my commitment to financial rigor is the Craigleith Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrade and Long Point servicing project. In August 2026 a staff report was brought forward following my April motion which revealed the potential debt servicing,  Therefore my follow-up motion requires the combined expertise of Planning, Operations, and Finance because future growth, wastewater servicing capacity, and financial sustainability are inseparable. Planning determines growth demand, Operations assesses infrastructure and capacity requirements, and Finance evaluates costs, funding, debt, and ratepayer impacts, ensuring evidence-based decision-making.

 

I believe major capital decisions require rigorous scrutiny before commitments are made, not after. Financial leadership means understanding the costs, risks, and long-term impacts before asking taxpayers and ratepayers to fund major infrastructure investments.  The work continues.....
